This week is EMS Week! Emergency Medical Service professionals include people in our communities who are ready for any kind of emergency. EMS providers include but are not limited to firefighters, dispatchers, first responders, ambulance personnel and others.
We appreciate those who put their lives aside to help others when they're having the worst day of their lives. This week we work especially hard to show our appreciation. Join us! Here are a few random acts of kindness ideas!
Snacks
What better way to show your appreciation for the women, men and volunteers that selflessly help others than with a good ‘ole box of fresh donuts or a fruit basket! (Donuts are definitely more fun but if we’re trying to be healthy, fruit is a good option too… I mean, you can’t go wrong with sprinkles.)
Here are some pro tips for you. Locally, here’s when a few of our area fire departments meet:
- Franklin Fire Department
3rd Thursday of the month - Morgan Fire Department
